Today Demandbase launched the next generation of its Demandbase Professional technology, designed with new sales and Web intelligence features aimed to enable real-time monitoring and alerts of critical Web activity. The new functionality is made available from the Demandbase Stream desktop software widget, designed to offer users instant visibility into customer, prospect and competitive intelligence from their Web site traffic, and to deliver automated alerts when a meaningful event occurs.

Customers with a Professional subscription can download Demandbase Stream, set alerts based on specific companies, types of interest, and level of engagement on the Web site, and have the service automatically monitor Web activity whenever their computer is turned on.

The next generation Demandbase Stream widget includes all of the functionality of previous versions — including real-time traffic information, integrated business contact data, e-mail prospecting and unique new functionality.

New features include:
•    Real-Time Alerts: Notifications set based on each user’s defined criteria or trigger event, informing users of meaningful Web activity from prospects, existing customers, or even competitors.
•    Sales Intelligence: Prospects prioritized based on their level of engagement (number of pages viewed), type of interest or stage in the buying cycle (new prospect, existing opportunity, or customer).
•    Customized Web Intelligence: Daily and weekly reports are sent via email summarizing insights for both sales and marketing, designed to offer Sales teams visibility into the most engaged prospects within their territories, and marketers insight into the quality of Web site traffic generated by individual traffic sources.
