Position Description

Demandbase is looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to help build a world-class company. The Senior Product Manager owns functional design and drives the implementation of new applications and features within our existing applications.  S/he works closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and external stakeholders to assess requirements and prioritize and design comprehensive solutions. S/he is also responsible for project management activities related to these projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough requirements gathering and analysis and recommend solutions
  • Develop concise, complete software functional designs, including business logic, navigation flow, data models, usability design, performance and documentation specifications
  • Contribute to every stage in the software solution life cycle, from design to implementation, testing, release and maintenance
  • Prepare test plans/scripts and execute functional and system testing
  • Lead technical resources such as developers, testers, and UI designers
  • Manage software projects, including the development and management of project plans and schedules

Qualifications/Experience

  • 5+ years product management experience, including development of software product specifications and contribution at every stage in the software solution life cycle, from design to implementation; testing, release and maintenance.
  • Our applications use the Adobe Flex and AIR platforms, so experience designing interactions for Rich Internet Applications is a big plus
  • Practical experience using Agile software development practices, Extreme Programming (XP) is a plus
  • Experience gathering requirements from all levels of an organization; savvy with end-users
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented and thorough
  • Likes to have responsibility and accountability for results
  • Strong analytical skills; able to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience working with MS Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Project

The Senior Consultant is primarily engaged on either customer facing or internal professional services engagements. Sr. Consultants often lead the technical aspects and the development of project deliverables of internal projects (system integration, whitepapers, scalability and performance tests) to a large extent and can lead standard customer engagements of low to medium complexity.  The Senior Consultant is responsible for continuing to develop the foundation skills of consulting and becoming proficient with one or more relevant technologies. The position requires an individual to utilize their skills in the consulting methodology, server-based computing concepts, documentation standards and organization, time management, Citrix products and technologies, software installation, and networking skills on internal Consulting Solutions assignments or client engagements. The Senior Consultant must be able to individually solve problems proactively and seek help from more experienced team members or other available sources (i.e. knowledge base, manuals, etc.) when necessary. The position requires a team player that seeks to supplement their skills through the use of project experience, self-study manuals, and point of need training. Good written and verbal communication skills are also required.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities
The Sr. Consultant works on internal and customer facing consulting projects of low-to-medium complexity with significant responsibilities for completion of entire project sections. Sr. Consultants also lead "standard" projects of low complexity.
• Emerges as a significant contributor and leader on project efforts, with the ability to assume responsibility/ownership for entire project components.
• Grows technical capacity beyond the core Citrix products and underlying technologies. Able to breakdown complex problems into manageable pieces and follow a structured process to resolve them.
• Holds teammates accountable for their commitments and helps coordinate team activities to ensure task completion.
• Stays up to date on the latest tools, methods, and measures both within Citrix and in the industry.
• Proactively, clearly, and openly shares information and ideas with others; asks for, listens to, and uses feedback and input.
• Talks openly with others, inside and outside of the company, about the things happening at Citrix.
• Prioritizes and focuses on what is most important for their individual deliverables, with consideration for the impact on team deliverables.
• Thinks and acts in terms of “We,” rather than “Us vs. Them”

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
• Bachelor of Science from an accredited university or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years experience as a Consultant.
• CCEA and MCSE/MCITP certifications preferred
• Willing to travel 80% of the time within the US and Canada 

• Experience with Citrix products such as XenDesktop, XenApp, XenServer or experience with other related Virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware products is preferred.

 
Account Manager, mardevdm2

Responsibilities:

•  Identify and activate new sales opportunities within an agreed upon sales territory

•  Attain/exceed total revenue and profit targets

•  Manage large/strategic accounts by introducing new products and services to capture additional

   marketing budget spend

Key Responsibility Areas:

•  Prospect to bring in new business within set territory guidelines.

•  Increase sales and market share for current/inherited customers.

•  Create new revenue streams by leveraging current products and assets.

•  Set up face to face meetings for customers and prospects, create or modify presentation and other

   materials specific to each meeting.

•  Create business plan for territory to show how target sales numbers will be accomplished.

•  Accurate weekly, monthly and yearly revenue forecasting.

•  Communicate with Marketing to develop nurturing newsletters, advertising, or other documents needed

    to increase revenue numbers.

•  CRM system entry of leads, prospects, sales opportunities and other business related activities.

•  Data system entry and output to create customized sales proposals.

•  Reply to customer or prospect requests within 2 hours

•  Provide territory, industry, and competitive feedback at sales meetings

•  Visit all key accounts a minimum of 2x per year

•  Participation in specified training programs

•  Attendance at relevant exhibitions and conferences

•  Any other activities that may reasonably be required to satisfy the needs of clients and fulfill the business

Qualifications:
