Airtable Unveils New AI Capabilities

Airtable, a low‒code platform that helps users build next‒gen apps, revealed additional capabilities for its Airtable AI feature, which is designed to accelerate and transform core business processes across organizations. The enhancements seek to help teams harness the power of AI at scale to augment critical workflows within the platform by:

Summarizing & Extracting Insights

The AI is programmed to analyze large amounts of detailed information and extract key insights, summarize them in a digestible format and automatically share them with relevant teams via email or other channels.

Categorizing Information

The solution can apply categories or tags to information at scale to help teams further organize and take action on their data. For example,  product feedback can be organized by sentiment, product area or language, and then the tool automatically posts negative feedback to a team’s Slack channel for quick action.

Generating Content

Teams can instantly create content based on the data stored in Airtable and tailor it to multiple channels and people. For example, sales can automatically generate emails to prospective customers with approved messaging, tailored to the recipient’s organization, while marketing can draft campaign assets.

Translating Any Language

Users can translate content across multiple languages, whether it’s standardizing product feedback into one shared language to identify global opportunities or tailoring customer-facing content to specific regions.

Routing Work(s)-In-Progress

Teams can match data and quickly route it to the right person or team to act on. For example, product teams can route feedback to the right engineers.

  • Asset Review, which expedites the creative production process by giving feedback quickly and in the same place where content is planned;
  • Apps that help teams create flexible, customized marketing workflows, allowing them to analyze, enrich and act on data without switching context;
  • The ability to integrate Airtable’s marketing tools with existing platforms;
  • A rules automation engine that enables teams to set up “if-then” rules to push out information faster and reduce errors; and
  • New and updated templates, including a marketing campaign tracker, content calendar, social media calendar, blog editorial calendar, event planning capabilities, digital asset management, content operations and more.
