Crimson Hexagon Raises $20 Million For Global Expansion

crimson hexagonSocial data analytics provider Crimson Hexagon has raised $20 million in growth equity financing. The funding, led by Sageview Capital, positions the company to expand its global sales and marketing team and infrastructure. The company has raised $17.5 million in previous funding rounds.

Crimson Hexagon’s company base has expanded more than 75% in the past 12 months, and its platform now caters to more than 10,000 active users. The company also has expanded its team abroad by 50%, with a growing employee base in London in the same time frame.

Recent partnerships and enhancements include:

  • An OEM partnership with business intelligence and analytics provider Birst;
  • The integration of anonymized Facebook topic data into its platform; and
  • The expansion of a unique preferred analytics partnership with Tumblr.
