Andreessen Horowitz led the financing, with existing investors General Catalyst Partners, Fidelity Growth Partners and Windcrest Partners also contributing.

GoodData works with more than 2,500 clients, including Software AG, Time Warner Cable, Capgemini and Pandora Media, to provide advanced analytics and on-demand data warehousing capabilities designed to more effectively measure business results. GoodData launched commercially in 2009, and has experienced more than 500% growth in overall platform usage in 2011 alone. GoodData currently manages more than 6,500 unique customer data marts.

Additionally, in Q3 2011, GoodData announced product enhancements, including an improved user interface. Added features include: Pardot marketing analytics; a contact support widget; reports that can be exported to CSV; mini charts; and public dashboards.

The company also announced a “Powered by GoodData” partnership with CompareNetworks, a global BtoB media company for the life science and healthcare industries that works with more than 700 customers. The partnership enables CompareNetworks to deliver advanced analytics to their advertising partners.

CompareNetworks operates multiple online marketplaces that assist businesses in connecting with potential buyers. By combining data across numerous data sources, including Omniture and Brightcove, CompareNetworks provides views into web site user behavior activities, enabling advertisers to optimize ad campaigns and glean intelligence for product development.

GoodData’s “Powered by” partners, including Zendesk, Pardot, Get Satisfaction and Coupa, have supplied powerful dashboards and ad-hoc analysis capabilities to more than 3,000 customers.

GoodData also announced “GoodData for Keynote” an integration designed to tap into Keynote Data Feed to deliver interactive intelligence dashboards to enterprise IT organizations.

The GoodData-Keynote integration will provide Keynote customers the ability to create custom visualizations of their Keynote web site performance. The GoodData-Keynote integration comes with pre-built interactive dashboards with key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports designed to offer best practices for measuring and analyzing web performance. Users can perform ad hoc analysis and customization of Keynote data and have the ability to store, archive and easily access web performance data. Additionally, enterprises will be able to mash-up Keynote data with critical IT systems and business data sources.
