Demand Science, a global revenue intelligence platform, opened its European headquarters in London and acquired Finity SA, an AI-driven content creation and aggregation provider, bringing its European-based workforce to more than 125 employees.
Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Finity analyzes and monitors 500 million social media posts, 20 million news articles and 50 million news sites and blogs daily. The company also leverages worldwide data to analyze what is happening in any industry, topic or location. It then works to turn that data into content such as live visualizations and infographics. Its specific capabilities include automatically identifying buying signals, key events and other important triggers embedded within media analyzed.
“Our acquisitions in the UK, Ireland, France and now Switzerland have strengthened our global first-party data strategy, deepened our intent aggregation and behavioral insights and leveraged global content across a wider set of B2B verticals,” said Cannone. “This is enabling our worldwide customers across North America, EMEA and APAC to grow their businesses and fuel our success. The opening of our new European headquarters and the acquisition of Finity align with our expansion strategy — this is our seventh acquisition in 18 months, and the fourth European company we’ve integrated into our worldwide business in the past 10 months.”
Over the past year, Demand Science experienced a flurry of M&A activity as it acquired:
- Airborne, to enhance its global intelligence platform;
- TrustedOut, to strengthen its solution suite with intent, content and market intelligence technology;
- Leadiro and Internal Results, to build on its strategy of providing enhanced B2B buyer intelligence products; and
- Tidings, to expand its sales enablement and intelligence solution suite.
