Dentsu Aegis To Acquire B2B Digital Marketing Agency DWA

1dwaMerkle, a marketing agency owned by global agency network Dentsu Aegis Network, announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire David Wood Associates Inc. (DWA), a global B2B digital marketing agency.

 The deal is the latest addition to Dentsu Aegis Network, following the acquisition of gyro and addition of Merkle last year.

 Founded in 1996, DWA specializes in ad-tech, real-time insight and management decision support to a range of integrated global media, including programmatic, search, social and demand generation.

Following the acquisition, DWA will be rebranded as “DWA, a Merkle Company,” with all 150+ DWA employees joining Merkle’s B2B practice. Going forward, the group will aim to accelerate its growth strategies by offering competitive solutions in the global B2B digital market.
