Salesforce To Acquire B2B Commerce Platform CloudCraze

1cloudcrazeSalesforce announced an agreement to acquire the B2B commerce solution CloudCraze for an undisclosed fee. The acquisition further strengthens the company’s B2B eCommerce capabilities by bringing on a solution that was built natively on the Salesforce platform.

CloudCraze is designed to help users offer B2B commerce experiences in a global setting and directly connect companies with their customers and partners. The addition of CloudCraze to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud aims to enable users to deliver an elevated commerce experience to both consumers and business buyers. For CloudCraze, the acquisition means the company will receive an extensive bump in investments and resources for further product growth aligning to Salesforce’s roadmap.

“The B2B commerce industry is expected to grow from $889 billion today to $1.2 trillion by 2021, and capturing this opportunity has never been more important for business,” said Ray Grady, President and Chief Customer Officer of CloudCraze, in a statement. “With the addition of CloudCraze to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce and its customers can now take advantage of this shift to digital commerce, enabling business buyers to browse and purchase online as easily as consumers shop today.”
