ON24 Releases 2014 Webinar Benchmarks Report

Published: May 22, 2014

Viewing time on webinars increased 47% over the past year. That was one of the key finding of the 2014 Webinar Benchmarks Report from ON24, a webinars and virtual communication solutions provider. The report also includes actionable insight on how companies can enhance their webinar capabilities.

The report’s findings were collected from over 7,000 webinars held by ON24 throughout 2013, involving over 500 organizations. The study is split into three areas: pre-event benchmarks, live-event benchmarks and post-event benchmarks.

“With a great deal of information now being limited to 140 characters or short YouTube videos, the general assumption could be that our attention spans are shrinking drastically. But our data illustrates that this is clearly not the case,” said ON24 CEO Sharat Sharan. “The fact that viewing time for our webinars has increased dramatically proves that when people are making serious purchasing decisions, they are more than willing to invest the extra time to educate themselves.”
