Appier, an artificial intelligence (AI) software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, finalized its acquisition of Woopra, a customer journey analytics SaaS company. The acquisition aims to strengthen Appier’s position in processing first-party data to build a next-generation customer data platform (CDP) with advanced AI technology and user-centric visualization analytics.
The addition of Woopra to Appier’s suite helps businesses integrate and synchronize customer data via one-click integrations and analyze every touch point throughout the customer journey in real-time. The goal of acquiring Woopra is to establish Appier’s position in the customer and product analytics market and further its enterprise market growth in the U.S. and European markets.
The next-generation CDP will seek to to establish 360-degree customer profiles from first-party data, provide user-centric analytics and visualization, enable predictions of end-user behaviors and tailor effective acquisition and engagement strategies by automated machine learning model building.
