Marketo announced its second quarter 2015 financial results, revealing a year-over-year revenue increase of 41% for a total of $50.7 million.
The company projects revenue of $53.5 to $55 million for the third quarter and total revenue of $209 to $211 million for 2015.
Other highlights from the second quarter included cash flow from operations of $10 million and a 52% year-over-year deferred revenue increase to $80.6 million. Marketo’s GAAP net loss was $18 million and its net loss per common stock was $0.43.
"During the quarter we made excellent progress in expanding our sales leadership team, continuing our success in the enterprise and deepening our relationships with key strategic customers," said Phil Fernandez, chairman and CEO of Marketo. "At the same time, we launched another wave of innovative products that continue to extend our competitive differentiation in the marketplace. Together, we believe these factors are cementing our leadership position in the marketing software industry."
Marketo announced its fourth quarter and full year 2014 financial results, highlighting 50% growth in revenue Q4 2014 and an annual revenue increase of 56% year-over-year — bringing the overall total to $150 million.
The announcement comes after a busy year for the company, where it saw the LaunchPoint ecosystem officially double in size since its inception in 2013. The marketing software provider also integrated with several companies such as Cloudwords, DataHero and SoMedia Networks.
Act-On Software posted a 215% increase in revenue for fiscal 2013 and ended the year with more than 2,000 customers, representing a wide range of sizes and industries.
In addition, the company doubled its workforce to 250 employees and opened three new offices, expanding its reach across three continents and seven office locations.
Marketing automation provider Act-On Software released its Q4 and full-year 2012 results, including major gains in revenue and customer acquisition.
According to a company news release, revenue in 2012 increased 298% over 2011. The number of customers increased by 234% during 2012, including 354 new customers added during Q4. Act-On also doubled its headcount during this period to more than 150 employees.
