Campaign Monitor Launches Visual Journey Designer For Automated Email Campaigns

placeitCampaign Monitor, an email marketing and automation software provider, has unveiled its new Visual Journey Designer. Now available to Campaign Monitor customers at no additional cost, Visual Journey Designer enables users to create customer journeys with drag-and-drop workflow tools that enhance personalization and timeliness, according to the company.

When combined with Campaign Monitor’s email builder and more than 200 pre-integrated app options, marketers can use the Visual Journey Designer to trigger automated email blasts based on customer data in real time, the company said. The solution can also incorporate custom rules created by the user to further personalize messaging to targeted buyers.

With its new offering, the company is targeting small- to mid-size businesses that have a limited amount of automation options available to them.

“Marketers want to take the manual effort out of sending campaigns to customers and prospects, but the cost and complexity of enterprise marketing automation suites make them available exclusively to the Fortune 1,000,” said Kraig Swensrud, CMO of Campaign Monitor, in a statement. “With Campaign Monitor’s new marketing automation capability, now every marketer can automate marketing campaigns that will increase sales and grow their business.”

Research from VentureBeat Insight shows that only 5% of companies outside the Fortune 1,000 are currently using marketing automation. However, two-thirds (66%) of respondents to Demand Gen Report’s annual Lead Nurturing Survey Report state that they look to send a different series of emails based on the actions and interests of the recipient, highlighting a potential need for such a solution.
