Marketo unveiled its 2019 Marketo Champion Class, which seeks to recognize users who are Marketo Certified and act as brand ambassadors to share their knowledge and expertise with others in the Marketing Nation Community.
Forty Marketo users were selected for this year’s class, including Sean Bissell of Concur, Sydney Gordon of CloudPassage and JD Nelson of Spigit. The news comes shortly after the company announced its Marketing Nation Summit will be integrated in Adobe Summit, as per Adobe’s acquisition of Marketo last year.
“This year was especially difficult to select our class because we had over 4x as many applicants for the Marketo Champion 2019 class than ever before in history,” said Sarah Kennedy, former CMO of Marketo and current VP, Marketing, Digital Experience at Adobe in a LinkedIn video announcement. “Thank you all so much for being the most passionate part of the Marketing Nation.”
