Brightcove, an online video hosting platform, appointed Sara Larsen as the company’s new CMO. She will replace former CMO Neil Lieberman and will oversee the media business unit and digital marketing unit, which is now combined into a single marketing organization.
Larsen previously served as VP of Americas Marketing and Communications at Dassault Systèmes. She has also held positions at SAP Americas and IBM.
“I am confident that under Sara’s leadership, our consolidated marketing organization will establish Brightcove as the choice for any company looking to leverage video to realize significant business value,” said Jeff Ray, CEO of Brightcove, in a statement. “We believe combining the marketing organizations will enhance the company’s ability to capitalize on Brightcove’s market leadership and better serve the needs of customers.”
