Aprimo Focuses On Productivity With Marketing Studio Update

this week released an update to its integrated marketing management suite, including a number of new features aimed at improving usability and productivity.

Aprimo Marketing Studio 8.8 is being billed by the company as a “high productivity” version of its flagship integrated marketing management (IMM) offering. According to the company, the update includes dozens of enhancements that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of users’ marketing campaigns.

Major changes to Aprimo Marketing Studio 8.8 include a user interface that requires fewer clicks to complete common tasks, as well as a simplified data entry process. It also features new installation and deployment tools that improve the process of implementing the product, migrating users and data, and completing upgrades. The update also incorporates social media input via Aprimo’s Social Adapter, which captures customer preferences by mining data on social networks such as Facebook.

Other new or upgraded features in the release include:

  • Easier report creation and administration;
  • Enhanced visual navigation for large review documents;
  • Simpler configuration and management of extended campaign attributes; and
  • More flexible email content creation capabilities.

“With the complexity of many of our customers’ marketing processes, adding flexibility and streamlining data entry can often yield significant benefits for our customers in terms of productivity and results,” said Lisa Arthur, CMO for Aprimo, in a news release. “Whether they are using Aprimo for Workflow or Spend Management or Digital Marketing or all of the above, we expect them to reap large benefits from this release.”
