By this time next week, the B2B Sales & Marketing Exchange (#B2BSMX) will have wrapped up and nearly 1,000 marketers will begin their pilgrimage back to their offices with invaluable insights. But let’s hit pause on this metaphor and come back to the present.
The overarching theme of #B2BSMX 2023 is focused on helping businesses accelerate stalled revenue opportunities by embracing the latest technology. All the information practitioners need are conveyed through four targeted tracks focused on RevOps, demand generation, ABM and go-to-market (GTM) strategies, delivered via case studies, lab presentations, breakout sessions and, of course, keynotes and general sessions.
Given the need for practitioners to completely reinvent their GTM processes, we knew the best way to kick off the event was by tapping in a GTM expert to take the reins. Sangram Vajre, Founder of GTM Partners, will host our second-ever Campfire Session, which provides a level of interactivity and engagement not found in traditional keynotes. In his session, “The New Role Of Revenue Leaders In The Constantly Changing Go-To-Market World,” Vajre will outline the 15 most common GTM challenges, share a modern GTM framework on how to address these and leave attendees with his top five recommendations to turn 2023 from confusion to clarity.
Continuing the conversation around GTM strategies will be:
- “Unlocking The Potential Of AI In B2B Go-To-Market: Use Cases, Training Levels & Change Management Challenges,” with The Pedowitz’s Group Jeanne Hopkins;
- “The GTM Team Starter Pack For Using AI,” featuring Nina Butler, Regie.ai and Sarah McConnell, Qualified; and
- “Partners As A Recession-Proof GTM Strategy,” moderated by Kathryn Rose alongside Marketopia’s Andra Hedden, Unusually Unusual Consulting’s Amy Bailey and PPT Solutions’ Roger Blohm.
Officially welcoming attendees #B2BSMX is Roderick Jefferson, with his Tuesday morning opening keynote, “Consistency Is Key: Turning Strategy Into Action With Enablement.” The sales coach and author will explore how to enable sales and marketing teams to work hand-in-glove to break the complexity of the buying and selling process into practical ideas. With that alignment in place, he’ll share how teams can generate scalable, repeatable and measurable processes that lead to accelerated revenue generation and increased sales productivity. In fact, he provided a sneak peek into his session for listeners of the #B2BMX podcast!
But Jefferson isn’t the only keynoter we have on-tap — rounding out the keynote circuit are:
- “No One Knows Who You Are: A Contrarian Take On Lower Funnel B2B Marketing,” featuring MNTN’s SVP of Marketing Ali Haeri and Pluralsight’s Sr. Director Of Marketing Koji Takagi; and
- “Effective B2B Engagement In The Narrative Generation,” with Peter Prodromou, President of Boathouse Group.
Additionally, #B2BSMX will feature General Sessions that include speakers such as John Arnold, a Principal Analyst with Forrester, sharing his thoughts on “How B2B Organizations Can Turbocharge Their Growth Engines In Today’s Economy,”; as well as a CRO panel — aptly titled “CRO Panel: New Revenue Remedies & Realities” — that will feature heads of revenue sounding off on the new revenue realities.
If all those sessions are leaving you hungry for more, make sure to check out #B2BSMX’s handful of Lunch & Learns, featuring insights from companies such as Outreach, MRP, Acronis and TechTarget.
If you’re an all-access pass holder, you’ll receive, well, access to hands-on workshops — featuring speakers from companies such as Sati Marketing, The Paris Group and Demand Spring — that cover everything from designing your process to unlock AI-driven insights and the must-have demand generation programs to elevate your leadership in an erratic environment.
For a first-hand look into how successful companies are conducting business, we have case studies that will feature client success stories from several in-demand solution providers, such as Influ2, Calendly, Integrate, Cheq, Digitalzone and INFUSEmedia. These companies will be joined by their successful clients, which include companies like T-Mobile, Avani Media, InterSystems and more.
And if all that’s not enough for you, the event will also feature an opening welcome reception where attendees can stroll through our vendor Marketplace and connect with peers and colleagues in a casual setting. As a send-off, we’ll close out the event by honoring some of the industry’s greatest innovators to share a last-minute dose of inspiration.
The eighth annual B2B Innovator Awards Ceremony will take place once all sessions conclude on Wednesday. Attendees are encouraged to grab a plated lunch and head over to the Awards Ceremony to celebrate the positive forces that weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, motivate their teams to think big and push the envelope to successfully engage buyers and prospects, drive brand awareness and close deals.
It’s clear that this an event you can’t afford to miss. Make sure to register for #B2BSMX today — if you message me on LinkedIn, I might be able to hook you up with a discount code! — and check out the full agenda to see all that we have in store.
