Following TechTarget’s definitive agreement to absorb Informa Tech’s digital businesses, the two companies debuted as Informa TechTarget. Through the unification, the company seeks to bring together insights, expertise, audience scale, intent data, specialist content and go-to-market (GTM) services for B2B technology vendors.
Specifically, the company plans to offer:
- Intelligence and advice from more than 750 editors, journalists and industry analysts;
- Branded content to help build awareness and thought leadership via more than 220 digital editorial brands and full-service content studios; and
- An audience of 50 million B2B tech and line of business professionals worldwide to help deliver “permissioned” intent data.
“Following the definitive agreement between TechTarget and Informa earlier this year, we are delighted to combine our strengths as Informa TechTarget,” said Gary Nugent, former CEO of Informa Tech and current CEO of Informa TechTarget, in a statement. “Our business serves an attractive, dynamic growth market, underpinned by increasing demand for B2B solutions built upon permission-based audiences and first-party data. Informa TechTarget has a unique set of assets, brands and talents that address the GTM challenges of today’s B2B technology vendors across their product lifecycle, from R&D to ROI, helping to accelerate time to market and to revenue while delivering long-term value to our shareholders.”
