“I have equated sales and marketing alignment to a marriage … in that it takes work,” said Isaacson. “If you start taking it for granted, start neglecting it, bad things happen. The reality is that sales and marketing alignment is a journey, not a destination. It always takes focus and new ideas, new thinking and new engagements to make it work effectively.”
