In a move designed to strengthen its commitment to serving the marketing sector, Salesforce acquired The CMO Club, according to a post on its website. The CMO Club is a member-based community of CMOs and marketing leaders, with more than 30 global chapters and 650-plus members from leading global brands.
As a result of the acquisition, Salesforce and The CMO Club will jointly offer digital platforms, programs and events for marketers, the statement noted.
“Salesforce welcoming The CMO Club and its members is a testament to our shared values of customer success and the power of community,” said Stephanie Buscemi, CMO of Salesforce, in a post. “We are committed to advancing The CMO Club’s core mission of fostering deep relationships and peer-to-peer problem solving for CMOs and marketing leaders.”
The CMO Club CEO Pete Krainik and staff will join Salesforce, according to the announcement.
