Demandbase Announces New Executive Hires

Demandbase, a go-to-market (GTM) company, hired Kelly Hopping as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Michael Wilczak as Chief Strategy & Development Officer. Hopping succeeds Jon Miller, who’s transitioning into the role of Chief Evangelist at Demandbase while he lays the groundwork for his next venture as a startup CEO.

“I joined Demandbase just over three years ago via the Engagio acquisition and am incredibly proud of the many accomplishments we’ve made in that time,” said Miller in a LinkedIn post. “I’ve learned so much during this time and am thankful to the team here at Demandbase — the marketers and sellers, the executives, the product and success teams, the G&A team… everyone. It’s been an honor to work alongside such talented, dedicated and inspiring individuals, and I can’t wait to see what this amazing company does next.”

Hopping holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. Previously, she worked for Kraft Foods, Dell, AMD, Rackspace and Gartner Digital Markets. Most recently, she served as HYCU’s CMO.

For his part, Wilczak spent 20 years building market-leading technology companies. Previously, he held several executive roles at iCIMS where he led product, acquisitions, ecosystem and strategy. Prior to iCIMS, Wilczak was Chief Strategy Officer at Wipro where he led the global growth of the company’s IT and business processes.
