ExactTarget unveiled its MobilePush application, a tool designed to integrate app-level messaging that leverages engagement data from across email, mobile, social and the web. The announcement was made during the Mobile Marketing Association Forum in San Francisco.
Key features of the MobilePush application include:
- Cross-channel integration;
- Advanced segmentation;
- Reporting and analytics; and
- Industry leading technology.

In addition to the MobilePush application launch, ExactTarget unveiled an update to its MobileConnect SMS messaging application. The MobileConnect SMS messaging application now features API functionality to trigger real-time SMS messages and adds expanded cross-channel capabilities to power web-initiated double opt-in and message delivery management.
