Outreach Acquires & Rebrands Canopy.io; Reveals New Enablement & Revenue Intelligence Features

Published: October 18, 2021

Outreach, an engagement and intelligence platform, acquired revenue intelligence software Canopy.io and rebranded it into Outreach Commit to equip users with sales analytics and forecasting capabilities. Additionally, the company unveiled new capabilities for Kaia, its conversation intelligence platform, and revealed the release date of Outreach Success Plans.

Outreach Commit will combine Canopy’s revenue intelligence and Outreach’s AI-powered buyer sentiment capabilities to improve users’ deal analysis and forecasting to drive more revenue. The new solution seeks to take the guesswork out of forecasting and enable sales teams to take actions that will increase their sales productivity and deal close rates.

Along with Canopy’s acquisition and rebranding, Outreach enhanced its Kaia solution with new features that include:

  • Real-time call analytics that help sales reps self-correct during buyer conversations;
  • Comprehensive search that provides managers with access to notes, content cards, action items and call transcripts;
  • Saved search alerts, enabling leaders to set how often they want key topics tracked and brought to their attention; and
  • Outreach Voice Import, an integration with Outreach Voice that will enable Kaia to provide a post-call analysis for calls made through Voice or Zoom.

Finally, the company will release Outreach Success Plans, a platform designed to provide sales leaders with better visibility into deals, on Oct. 27. The solution is designed to provide an integrated, transparent and collaborative buying experience for long-term customer success, providing sales leaders with better visibility into deals to help them coach their teams to increase close rates.

“Over the past 18 unpredictable and transformative months, we have seen the rise of a new cohort of leaders we are calling ‘Revenue Innovators,’ who have thrived by embracing the digital disruption of sales,” said Manny Medina, CEO and Co-founder of Outreach, in a statement. “These are leaders who had to adapt and evolve their mindset to embrace automation and machine learning as the keys to driving predictable, efficient growth — consistently and despite the uncertainty in the market. They need tools that combine engagement with intelligence and marry together the art and science of sales. The evolution of the Outreach platform does exactly that.”

These announcements follow Outreach’s $200 million funding round in June and help further the company’s goal of introducing new technologies into its portfolio.
