At Demand Gen Report, as well as at our sister publication ABM In Action, we have made it our mission to ensure that we’re providing the latest trends and best practices in the growing realm of account-based strategy. But during a recent webcast we produced with our friends at Engagio, I realized that there is always something to learn when it comes to one of the hottest trends in B2B business today.
Influ2, a person-based marketing platform, is positioned to help B2B companies engage with enterprise decision makers via targeted, person-based advertising. It is designed to place ads on LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media, business and news sites, and then track ad impressions, clicks and engagement on a person-by-person basis.
Time and time again, generating good leads is the No. 1 challenge for B2B sales teams. HubSpot’s State of Inbound report confirmed that 63% of marketers are in agreement on this matter. Sales and marketing teams spend hours crafting new strategies, following up on potential leads and writing up marketing messages.
Demandbase announced the acquisition of Spiderbook, a data science company that automates the identification of companies that are likely to buy, for an undisclosed fee. All Spiderbook employees will be joining the Demandbase team, and a company spokesperson states Demandbase plans to make the Spiderbook solution available by June.
