Published: August 10, 2011

On the heels of its e-Commerce store launch in July, the company told DemandGen Report it expected a 20% increase in quarter-to-quarter growth driven by the success of its freemium model. Based on its current conversion rate of moving about 7% of freemium account to paid, Weber projected that the company could double its revenues based on its accelerated growth in helping small businesses step up from email systems to add tracking and nurturing functionality.

Additionally, the company recently enhanced its self-help center, to help marketers in smaller companies ease the addition of automation tools and functions.

“As in the US, UK marketers are faced with increasing demands to showcase their impact on the bottom line,” said Mark Donkin, Managing Director, Genius.com. “There is a tremendous need sophisticated marketing tools that are easy-to-use, intuitive and can show quick time to value…There is a lot of opportunity for Genius in the UK and I am looking forward to our continued expansion.”

Donkin has over a decade of experience in the software industry. In 2004, Donkin set up Salespush Ltd., a web-based Sales Management Solution, in response to a gap in the market for a cost effective solution to manage and track sales processes.
