Blueshift Appoints Former Marketo CMO To Board Of Directors

Chandar marketoFormer Marketo CMO Chandar Pattabhiram has joined the Board of Directors for Blueshift, an AI-focused marketing solution.

Following his departure from the marketing automation company in June 2017, Pattabhiram took the helm as CMO of Coupa Software, a cloud-based spend management solution. He also held senior-level positions at Badgeville, IBM Cast Iron and Andersen Consulting prior to its rebranding to Accenture.

“The time is now for AI technologies in marketing to move from the back seat into the driver’s seat,” said Pattabhiram in a statement. “Ever since my first meeting with the Blueshift team, I’ve been beyond impressed by their offering and how easy it makes it for marketers to utilize AI to orchestrate entire customer journeys and harmonize their customer interaction data.”

Blueshift’s recent innovations in AI-Powered Marketing include “AI-Powered Customer Journeys,” which is designed to enable marketers to deliver content-rich and personalized customer engagement across every marketing channel.

Pattabhiram is the second Marketo alum to join Blueshift’s Board of Directors. Tae Hea Nahm, Managing Director at business management consultant and VC firm Storm Ventures, was a member of Marketo’s Board of Directors up until August 2016. Other board members include Blueshift’s founders and Jishnu Bhattacharjee, who is Managing Director at Nexus Venture Partners.
