The HANA Data Management Suite aims to give companies greater visibility and control over their data. It is designed to gather data from multiple sources and integrate it into a single view for optimization. The suite is also positioned to provide analytics on live transactions and ensure data security and privacy.

SAP also unveiled the C/4HANA Cloud, a unified suite of SAP applications that are designed to help businesses better serve and retain customers. The suite is positioned to fully integrate with SAP solutions and includes the SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Service Cloud, SAP Customer Data Cloud and SAP Sales Cloud, all of which were formerly under the SAP Hybris name.

SAP also announced it has acquired Coresystems, a field service and workforce management software, for an undisclosed fee. Unveiled at the event, the company plans to leverage Coresystems to improve the field-service customer experience, according to a release.

“We recognize that every part of a business needs to be focused on a single view of the consumer,” said Bill McDermott, CEO of SAP, during a presentation at the conference. “When you connect all SAP applications together in an intelligent cloud suite, the demand chain directly fuels the behaviors of the supply chain."
