Autopilot Closes $7 Million Round, Launches New Platform

Autopilot guides imageAutopilot, a cloud-based email marketing and marketing automation provider, received $7 million in funding to enhance its existing solutions and launch a new educational platform for marketers. This brings the company’s total funding to $20.5 million.

Called Flight School, the marketing education platform is designed to provide marketers guides and training courses that can maximize proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation. The platform offers a variety of instructive content and tools, including:

  • Access to pre-built customer journey templates;
  • Best practices and methodologies for growing leads and sales online; and
  • Ability to comment on and share HTML, video and e-book content.

“Since [our new software] launched in March, we have seen incredible traction and growth,” said Mike Sharkey, co-founder and CEO of Autopilot, in an interview with Demand Gen Report. “The funding will help us continue to grow to support our customers and meet their needs.”
