Gong Surpasses $300M in Annual Recurring Revenue, Sees Customer Growth Beyond Tech

Published: March 10, 2025

Gong, the AI startup last valued at more than $7 billion, has surpassed $300 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), according to the company’s results for fiscal 2024, which ended Jan. 31, 2025.

The company attributes this growth momentum to increasing demand for AI-driven revenue solutions since its 2016 founding. Usage of Gong’s AI capabilities has risen by nearly 50% over the last 12 months. One of the company’s most popular offerings is Ask Anything, a generative AI tool that helps revenue teams gain insights into their calls, deals and contacts so they can better analyze their pipeline. This solution alone saw 400% year-over-year growth.

Gong Engage and Gong Forecast — the company’s newest products built on its native AI capabilities and Data Engine — have seen the highest growth. One in four Gong customers now uses multiple solutions within its portfolio to help enhance efficiencies and drive impact.

“Over the past year, we’ve seen rising market adoption as revenue teams progressively rely on AI — not just for better insights, but for automating actions and workflows that drive greater productivity, business growth and forecasting accuracy,” said Amit Bendov, CEO of Gong in a statement. “The results speak for themselves — teams using AI-powered solutions like Gong are consistently outperforming their peers. We’re excited to build on our success and, with even bigger ambitions for the year ahead, continue empowering revenue teams with an AI platform that delivers tangible and compelling outcomes.”

Breaking into New Sectors

Companies using AI report 29% higher sales growth, and Gong reports that customers like SpotOn and Frontify have seen double-digit gains in revenue, win rates and deal sizes. Companies across industries want to realize these benefits, which is why Gong is seeing its customer base grow beyond tech and into media, financial services, healthcare and manufacturing.

Gong’s impact also extends beyond sales teams. Adoption has grown across revenue operations, sales enablement, customer success, support and professional services.

For example, Canva saw a 60% boost in rep capacity and 6% growth in revenue, while Paycor saw a 141% increase in deal wins using Gong’s AI-powered pipeline management.

“Gong’s momentum reflects the current market transformation,” said Sonya Huang, General Partner of Sequoia, in a statement. “Gong is reshaping the future of revenue with AI, transforming how companies manage customers and deliver results at every stage of their business. Its strong growth underscores a key trend as we head into 2025 — companies are moving beyond foundational AI technology and seeking enterprise AI applications that deliver real, measurable business benefits.”
