Marketo has appointed Mika Yamamoto as Global President. The company said she will focus on supporting and enhancing an end-to-end customer experience, as well overseeing the planning, engagement and measurement capabilities of the marketing automation platform.
Yamamoto formerly served as the Chief Digital Marketing Officer of SAP. Her previous roles also include Head of Marketing and Merchandising for Amazon Books, General Manager of Marketing and Experiences at Microsoft and Research Vice President of Gartner.
“I am beyond excited to join the exceptional team at Marketo to lead the company through its next phase of growth as we scale to become a one-billion-dollar company,” Yamamoto said in a statement. “We will do this by continuing to innovate to help companies deliver meaningful, personalized connections with their customers, ultimately enabling marketers to deliver substantial shareholder value.”
