Liferay Announces General Availability of Digital Sales Room

Published: October 12, 2026

Key Takeaways:

  • Liferay Digital Sales Room gives sales teams a governed, branded microsite where buyers and internal stakeholders can access deal content in one place.
  • The platform’s engagement tracking helps reps understand who is interacting with content so they can prioritize follow-up and identify deal momentum.

Liferay Digital Sales Room (DSR), a new offering that gives B2B sales teams a self-service way to collaborate with buyers and win deals faster.

For B2B organizations, deals often move through a mix of email threads, shared drives, and point tools, with proposals, contracts, case studies, and pricing scattered across systems. That fragmentation only gets harder to manage as more people get pulled into a deal, with each looking for different information at a different stage of the decision.

Liferay DSR solves this by giving sales teams a single, organized space to manage a deal and keep every stakeholder who joins the buying group on the same page, so buyers aren’t left to piece it together on their own, according to company officials.

Closing Deals Faster with Real-Time Visibility

Liferay DSR tracks how buyers interact with shared content, showing sales teams what’s being viewed and downloaded, and by whom. That visibility helps reps prioritize follow-up, spot additional stakeholders as they join the room, and get a clearer read on deal health.

“B2B sales teams have been left choosing between fragmented point tools and building a sales experience from scratch,” said Julia Molano, Director of Product Management at Liferay, in a statement. “With Liferay DSR, salespeople can independently spin up a branded, governed microsite for each deal to collaborate with buyers and close deals faster.”

Salespeople Build It, Liferay DXP Powers It

Salespeople can spin up a branded, governed microsite for deals on their own, without submitting an IT ticket or waiting on marketing. Because the new offering runs on Liferay DXP, every room inherits the content, customer data, permissions, and governance the platform already provides, so speed doesn’t come at the cost of control.

Salespeople can use templates to launch a room, then add approved decks, case studies, demos, and pricing as the deal moves forward. Champions on the buyer side can share the room with other stakeholders, expanding the buyer group within a single, governed space so everyone works from the same, up-to-date set of materials.

“Most of the digital sales room vendors we evaluate come from a sales or revenue enablement background,” said Michelle Morgan, Research Manager, Sales Force Productivity and Performance at IDC. “Liferay’s commerce heritage and its focus on regulated, complex industries is a different starting point than we typically see in this market.”

Liferay Digital Sales Room is now generally available as an add-on to Liferay DXP, with a 60-day free trial that includes full access.

Liferay Data Platform Now Up and Running

Additionally, Liferay announced the general availability of Liferay Data Platform (LDP), a new offering that gives B2B organizations a single, trusted view of account activity, drawn from CRM, marketing automation, account-based marketing (ABM), and behavioral data.

LDP combines customer and account data from existing sales, marketing, and digital experience systems into one trusted account view. It connects both known and anonymous activity to the right account, keeps track of where the data came from, and uses customer-defined rules to resolve conflicts. This helps teams make better account decisions and spend less time manually reconciling data.

An Account Lifecycle Dashboard shows where every account sits across six stages, from Aware through At-Risk, using a Highest Watermark rule so an account’s stage always reflects what its data genuinely supports. Marketers can configure stage triggers without submitting an IT ticket, and the dashboard surfaces accounts stalled for 90 or more days in a stage alongside stage-to-stage conversion. Teams get a clear view of account progress, so effort goes where it matters most and sales, marketing, and customer success teams work from the same priorities.

“Manufacturers, distributors and other B2B organizations run their business on long-term account relationships. What they haven’t had is one place that shows how those relationships are progressing,” said Molano. “That can mean missing signs that an account needs attention or reaching out after buyer interest has already faded. LDP gives teams the visibility to get ahead of those moments, not just react to them.”

Liferay Data Platform is now generally available.
