IDG Communications, Inc., a technology media company, acquired LeadSift, a B2B sales and marketing intelligence platform, to help provide another layer of actionable intent data for technology marketers.
LeadSift uses proprietary AI and data mining technologies to help extract actionable insights for B2B marketers from millions of data points across the web. Delivered as a daily digest of data, LeadSift’s algorithms seek to uncover relevant leads who demonstrate intent to buy, allowing B2B marketers to craft the appropriate messaging for outreach and sales follow-up resulting in robust new business opportunities.

This marks IDG Communication’s third acquisition in 18 months, with the company previously merging with Triblio, an ABM platform, and KickFire, a marketing data and intelligence solution provider. According to IDG, both platforms are already integrated into IDG’s data set and tech editorial branded sites.
