HubSpot has released a new integration with the collaboration platform Slack that aims to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
Through the integration, users can turn Slack conversations into CRM tasks in HubSpot, according to the companies. They are also positioned to send Slack notifications for activities in HubSpot, as well search and link HubSpot tasks with a contact, company or deal.
The companies also stated they will be expanding their partnership in the future. According to the press release, HubSpot plans to launch Conversations, a universal inbox designed to help marketing and sales teams connect with prospects and customers, next month with the assistance of Slack.
“At HubSpot, we strive to put ease-of-use first when building new products,” said Brad Coffey, Chief Strategy Officer for HubSpot, in a statement. “Sometimes, tools that were built to promote productivity can actually end up taking up more time as you add more and more to your stack. With this new integration, we’re combatting the ‘frankenstack’ and ensuring that reps are able to reap the full benefits of both Slack and HubSpot.”
The integration is now available to all HubSpot and Slack users.
