HG Data Acquires Pivotal iQ To Expand Technographic Data Offerings

HG Data, a sales and marketing intelligence provider, announced plans to acquire Pivotal iQ, an IT sourcing intelligence company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition aims to position HG Data to provide enhanced technographic data for marketing and sales teams. According to the companies, HG Data and Pivotal iQ users will benefit immediately from an increase in data quality and quantity. Eventually, the best features from both platforms will be combined under the HG Data name.

“With the addition of Pivotal iQ, we are the first in the market to deliver a unique blend of IT spend, IT install and contract renewal intelligence,” said Elizabeth Cholawsky, CEO of HG Data, in a statement. “This information can be accessed through the Pivotal iQ platform, allowing our customers to act more quickly on the best technology datasets with the deepest insights.”
