Mediafly Acquires Alinean To Bridge Gap Between Sales Enablement Tech And Consulting Services

Mediafly, a sales enablement company, has acquired Alinean, a B2B marketing and sales software and consulting company.

The acquisition positions Mediafly to boost sales effectiveness among its customers with a combined offering of sales enablement solutions and consulting services. The company said it plans to enhance its Evolved Selling platform with new features such as TCO/ROI calculators, as well as expand its advisory services.

“Through our acquisition of Alinean, we are continuing our focus on helping sales teams across the globe provide interactive presentations that enhance sales engagement and drive results,” said Carson Conant, Founder and CEO of Mediafly, in a statement to Demand Gen Report. “In addition to being a fantastic cultural fit to our Mediafly team, Alinean’s technology and advisory services allow Mediafly to further sellers’ abilities to provide data-driven sales interactions.”

As part of the agreement, Alinean Founder and CEO Tom Pisello will take on the role of Chief Evangelist at Mediafly.

“Integrating Alinean’s value messaging and sales tools with Mediafly’s sales enablement platform will empower sellers with dynamic content and interactive tools to better communicate and quantify differentiating value to prospects,” said Pisello in a statement.
