Grata, a B2B search engine, has secured $3.2 million in Seed funding, aiming to fund its mission of assisting business professionals by expanding Grata’s proprietary search engine database. The round was led by Bling Capital in conjunction with former marketing executives and advisors from American Express, Citi, Goldman Sachs and more.
With the generated capital, Grata plans to scale its proprietary search engine technology, accelerate product development and grow their platform’s sales and engineering functions. This will allow businesses large and small to easily find potential partnerships and prospects and enable service providers and recruiters to uncover insights into prospects’ hiring and spending history for efficient marketing operations.
“A few years from now, using Grata to find companies will be like using Yelp to find good restaurants,” said Andrew Bocskocsky, CEO and Co-Founder of Grata, in a statement. “At Grata, we are excited to provide a single source of truth for company discovery, solving the problem of the subjective and incomplete information that exists today. We have innovated the latest Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and worked with the world’s best talent to change the way online business information is captured.”
