DiscoverOrg, a marketing and sales intelligence provider, announced it had acquired ZoomInfo, a B2B contact database provider. Together, the companies aim to provide a trusted, comprehensive network of data for B2B professionals.
The company said it plans to release a light integration within the next month that positions mutual customers to access both platforms. The two databases will then be combined into a single data intelligence platform over the next year. DiscoverOrg said it also plans to launch new features, integrations and analytics.
“To effectively capitalize on growth opportunities, companies of all sizes need accurate firmographic, technographic, contact and intent data,” said Henry Schuck, Co-Founder and CEO of DiscoverOrg, in a statement. “Combined, DiscoverOrg and ZoomInfo deliver the trifecta: B2B data of the highest quality, quantity and depth.”
Shuck will lead the combined organization, which now serves nearly 15,000 customers and 120,000 users. ZoomInfo CEO Derek Schoettle will assume an advisory role during the transition.
